Sapiranga held last Saturday (22), at the Centro Municipal de Cultura Lucio Fleck, the choice of the queen and princesses of the 38th Festa das Rosas, scheduled for November and held annually.
With the show entitled “When love becomes tradition”, the audience and online viewers were transported back to the first editions of the party, recalling its origins and how it all began. Mayor Carina Nath emphasized the responsibility that those elected will have. “It will be three women who will not only represent the party, but also our city across the state. The judges have a tough job as they all look stunning and well-groomed,” she stated.
The 12 contestants performed their group performances, with captivating choreography, followed by individual performances. Then the judges met to make the final decision.
Around 22:40, the long-awaited names were revealed. The chosen queen was Lívia Maria Flor, 21 years old, and the court will be composed of princesses Flávia Pires de Souza, 18 years old, and Amanda Somavilla, who is 24 years old.
Next week, the sovereigns will start a schedule of appointments to publicize the event. The 38th Festa das Rosas, one of the biggest popular festivals in Rio Grande do Sul, is scheduled to take place from November 11th to 19th, at Parque do Imigrante in Sapiranga.
