This Tuesday (25/07), the mayor of Caxias do Sul, Adiló Didomenico, and the deputy, Paula Ioris, paid an emotional tribute to the Queen and Princesses of the Grape Festival 2022, Pricila Zanol, Bianca Ott and Bruna Mallmann, through the delivery of the prestigious National Immigrant Monument Medal. The honor was granted in recognition of the valuable services provided by the three sovereigns to the Caxias do Sul community.
Overflowing with joy and emotion, the trio of sovereigns, who will soon pass the crown on to the future representatives of the 2024 Festival, are already beginning to feel nostalgia for the reign that is approaching its end. “We are wondering if we are going to deliver”, joked Queen Pricilla, trying to disguise the feelings that invade their hearts. “We have to start holding back (the emotion)”, confessed Pricila.
Mayor Adiló Didomenico highlighted that the National Immigrant Medal is just a small token of gratitude compared to the immense legacy left by the sovereigns. “We will always remember this trio with great affection. And that feeling is that of the community ”, he declared with emotion.
The president of the Festa da Uva, Fernando Bertotto, made a point of highlighting the harmony, beauty and exemplary dedication of Pricila, Bianca and Bruna, who, even facing the challenge of the pandemic, led the Festa with mastery, from their choice to the event. Speaking on behalf of the trio, Queen Pricilla expressed her gratitude for their support during her reign. “We didn’t have the presentation dinner, the Filó das Embaixatrizes, only what came afterwards, the publicity and the work”, she recalled. And she added enthusiastically: “But it’s life-changing, it’s very grand.”
Even before the end of their crowns, the Queen and Princesses of Festa da Uva 2022 demonstrated their total willingness to collaborate in the next event, offering their experience and dedication in favor of the continuity of the great celebration.
The National Immigrant Medal ceremony not only highlighted the commitment of the sovereigns to the community, but also celebrated the remarkable and unforgettable trajectory that Pricila, Bianca and Bruna trod during their festive reign, leaving a legacy of love, beauty and unity for all Caxians.
