The Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) of Taquara announced this Monday (24th), the offer of four professional training courses in partnership with the Rural Union of Vale do Paranhana. The courses are available free of charge to residents of Taquara who work in family farming or are linked to the Single Registry. Seats are limited, so interested parties who have availability during business hours should register as soon as possible.
The Secretary for Social Development, Work and Citizenship, Maurício Souza, highlighted the relevance of investing in the qualification of these families, aiming to provide new opportunities and strengthen the local economy. He pointed out that training is a fundamental tool to promote social inclusion and income generation. Acquiring new skills will allow families to improve their quality of life and ensure a more promising future for all members.
The courses that are open for enrollment are listed below:
Homemade Baking Course: Held from the 14th to the 16th of August. Participants will learn how to prepare breads and delicacies both for their own consumption and for commercial purposes.
Handicraft Course with Cloth Dolls: Held from the 21st to the 24th of August. Manual skills will be developed for the creation of cloth dolls, opening up the possibility of transforming this art into a source of income.
Homemade Biscuits and Salty Course: Scheduled for the 21st and 22nd of September. Participants will learn how to make cookies and snacks for parties and events, surprising their guests.
Macrame Handicraft Course: Scheduled to take place between the 25th and 28th of September. Participants will explore the art of macramé, creating unique and stylish pieces to decorate their homes or gift to someone special.
Entries must be made in person at CRAS, which is located at Rua Guilherme Lahm, 947, in the center of Taquara. Public service is available from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
