Bariloche, Argentina, is getting ready to host, from August 4th to 6th, the traditional Snow Festival, an annual event in Argentina that promotes an extensive cultural program and boosts tourism in the region. During these three days, almost a thousand artists will participate in around 120 shows, which will take place in different parts of the city.

The official opening will take place on the 3rd, at Cerro Catedral, one of the main tourist destinations in Bariloche, with the traditional event of the descent of lights on the mountain slopes. Other venues that will host activities are La Baita Theater, El Brote Theater, Puerto San Carlos, Sarmiento Library, Paico, Escuela de Arte La Llave and SCUM.
