Incanto Trentino, known as one of the biggest parties to promote Italian culture in Santa Catarina, is back with its 29th edition. This year, the event promises to surprise visitors with several novelties. The party will take place over two weekends, from July 27th to 30th and from August 3rd to 6th, at the Centro de Eventos Cremilda Tridapalli, in Nova Trento. Incanto Trentino is organized by the Municipality of Nova Trento, through the Municipal Secretary of Culture and Tourism.
Expansion of the party and modern structure
Due to the large number of requests to increase the size of the party, the Organizing Committee of Incanto Trentino met with the mayor and the secretary of Culture and Tourism and decided to extend the party for two weekends. In addition, the party will have a more modern structure, using LED lighting and vibrant decor, without losing the rustic essence of Italian culture. The event will also have several cultural attractions and national shows, in addition to preserving Italian traditions.
Official opening and schedule
The official opening of the 29th Incanto Trentino will take place on the 27th of July, at 8 pm, with the presence of authorities and guests. The gates will open at 5 pm, with cultural presentations and a show by Camerata Florianópolis, with free admission. During the opening ceremony, the traditional tapping of the first barrel of wine and the tipping of the polenta will take place, attracting and enchanting visitors. The traditional parade, which shows the joy of Italian traditions and brings together families and friends, will take place on Sunday, August 6th, at 10am, and will feature the Incanto Trentino mascots, Luigi and Pina.
Free admission days and prices
On the 27th and 28th of July, and the 3rd and 4th of August, admission will be free from 5 pm to 7 pm. On July 29th and August 5th, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on July 30th and August 6th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the public will also not need to pay a ticket. On other days and times, tickets cost R$ 20.00. Students, seniors and other publics provided for by law are entitled to half price. In addition, those dressed in typical Italian costume will have free entry.
Cultural attractions and typical cuisine
During Incanto Trentino, visitors will be able to enjoy the rich Italian culture, with typical music performed by Italian and popular bands from the region, traditional dances performed by folk groups and traditional competitions, such as sawmill, slingshot, draft beer in the meter, among others.
Gastronomy is also a major attraction of the festival, with the sale of cheese, salamis, jams produced by families in the municipality, in addition to local wines and beers. The public will have several meal options, such as pasta, pizza, polenta, among others, highlighting the typical dish of the party, Piatto Nostrano.
Royalty of the 29th Incanto Trentino and preparation for the 2024 edition
The beauty will be represented by the queen and princesses of Incanto Trentino, as well as by the royals of the party, the “piccola Regina” and the principessas. In this 29th edition, the child representatives are Maria Clara Gon Vanini, as second principessa, Suzana Fachin Till, as prima principessa, and Ana Betina Fantini, who is the new piccola Regina of Incanto Trentino.
The adult royalty is made up of Queen Ariani Dalla Brida, Eduarda Grott da Silveira as the second princess and Adriana Izabel Dalsenter as the first princess. For the 2024 edition, which will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Incanto Trentino, the child royalty will be chosen on Sunday, the 6th, at 4 pm.
