Next Saturday, July 22, Sapiranga will have a night full of emotions and joy, inspired by the roots of the Festa das Rosas and the dances of the 60s and 70s. The show “When love becomes tradition” will reveal the new court of the 38th Festa das Rosas, considered one of the biggest popular and free festivals in Vale dos Sinos. The event will start at 8 pm at the Centro Municipal de Cultura Lucio Fleck, and the community will be able to watch it live through the City Hall channel on Youtube (youtube.com/prefsapiranga).
The evening will begin with the individual presentation and interview of the twelve candidates for the jury. Then, to the sound of the Presto Quartet, they will parade to the public, culminating in the long-awaited moment of the coronation.
Being crowned queen or princess of the party and having your name immortalized in the history of the City of Roses is a huge responsibility, requiring an intense preparation process. Since May 28, the candidates have participated in a series of activities, such as make-up, etiquette, speech and oratory workshops, video and photography tests and tips, body expression, catwalk and knowledge about the city’s history.
The 38th Festa das Rosas is an initiative of the City Hall of Sapiranga and the Association of Friends of the Festa das Rosas – Amirosas. The main event will take place from November 11th to 19th, at Parque do Imigrante, with free admission.
