The Municipal Secretariat of Culture, Sport and Leisure (SMCEL) of Esteio is accepting applications from people from Esteio interested in participating in the workshops of the second semester of the Teatro para Todos project.
The free classes are aimed at students aged six and over and take place in three locations: Casa de Cultura Lufredina Araújo Gaya (Centro), Praça da Juventude (Bairro Jardim Planalto) and the Unified Arts and Sports Center – CEU (Bairros São Paulo). Sebastian).
According to Michele Darolt, director of Cultural Policies at SMCEL and former coordinator of the project, Teatro para Todos adopts Augusto Boal’s methodology, which works on people’s innate ability to make theatre. During classes, body expression exercises, vocalization, dramatic games, theatrical games, improvisation, group work, creation of small scenes, observation and analysis of scenes created in meetings, among other activities, are carried out.
Michele points out that the project provides student-actors with the necessary tools for self-knowledge and the development of their skills, resulting in a personal transformation and, consequently, in the reality in which they live. She points out that the aim of the project is not to train actors, but rather to help in individual development, improving the self-esteem, empowerment and protagonism of the participants.
