Ingredients:
– 1 pack of Tio João Cozinha & Sabor – Neapolitan Risotto
– 3 and ¾ cup (tea) of water
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 2 tablespoons of New Olive Oil
– 1 clove of minced garlic
– 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
– ½ sliced pepperoni sausage
– 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
– ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
Preparation mode:
Boil 3 and ¾ cup (tea) of water. In a deep frying pan, mix 1 cup (tea) of hot water with the risotto and 1 teaspoon of salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. As the liquid evaporates, add the hot water little by little until the beans are cooked but firm to the bite (al dente) and the risotto is creamy.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan and sauté 1 clove of minced garlic with 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds. Add ½ sliced pepperoni sausage and fry until golden. Finish the risotto by adding 1 tablespoon (soup) of unsalted butter, ½ cup (tea) of grated Parmesan cheese and the braised sausage. Mix gently and serve next.
Tip: for a smoother flavor, prepare the risotto with 3 cups (tea) of water and complete the cooking with 1 and ½ cups (tea) of hot milk. Finish with ½ cup (tea) of grated parmesan cheese.
