Expointer is one of the biggest agricultural events in the country and in the world, which brings together the best in rural production in Rio Grande do Sul. The 46th edition of the fair will be held from August 26 to September 3, 2023, at Parque Estadual de Exposições Assis Brasil, in Esteio, in the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre.
The fair will have the participation of animal breeders, farmers, industrial and commercial companies of machines, implements and equipment, agricultural and agricultural products, legally constituted entities and individuals who register in advance. In addition to the exhibition and commercialization of animals, machines and products, Expointer will also offer a varied cultural, gastronomic and educational program for visitors.

Tickets to the fair will cost R$ 16 for the full ticket and R$ 8 for half price. Children up to six years old, accompanied by parents or guardians, will have free admission. Half price is guaranteed for the elderly and people with disabilities. Parking, in turn, will cost visitors R$40.
Assis Brasil Exhibition State Park is located at KM 13 of BR 116 (side road) in Esteio/RS. It is also possible to access the park by train, from Porto Alegre to Novo Hamburgo, disembarking at Esteio station. The park is one of the largest technology parks in the country, with a total area of 141 hectares.

Family Agriculture Pavilion
One of the most popular and traditional spaces at Expointer is the Pavilhão da Agricultura Familiar, which brings together typical and handcrafted products from small rural producers in Rio Grande do Sul and other states. In the pavilion, visitors can find cheeses, salamis, cucas, breads, jams, dulce de leche, yogurts, yerba mate, juices, wines, cachaças, flowers and handicrafts.
The pavilion has 337 projects from 166 municipalities, 160 of which are from Rio Grande do Sul. The pavilion also offers four kitchens that provide dishes with products from family agro-industries. The pavilion is an opportunity to value the work of family farmers and learn about the diversity and quality of rural production in Rio Grande do Sul.
