Rio Grande – RS – The iconic Volkswagen Fusca, affectionately known as Fusca, stands out in the Rio Grande Shopping Square with its special exhibition, the ‘Expo Beetle’. Recognized as the ‘Car of the Century’, the Beetle holds a special place in the hearts of car enthusiasts around the world. Originally from Germany, it has become the most popular car on the planet. Although its production has ended, collectors of this automotive classic can be found in all corners of the globe, especially in Brazil.
To celebrate the global importance of this beloved vehicle, Praça Rio Grande Shopping is hosting a unique exhibition dedicated to the renowned ‘beetle’ on Wednesday, June 21st.
Organized by the Clube dos Guardiões do Passado Automobilístico de Rio Grande, the ‘Expo Beetle’ will feature a carefully selected show of models that highlight the history of the Beetle in Brazil. Visitors will have the opportunity to see up close six copies carefully preserved by collectors in the city.
The ‘Expo Beetle’ is yet another initiative of the traditional ‘Monthly Meeting of Vintage Cars – Guardians of the Past’, promoted by the Clube dos Guardians of the Automobile Past of Rio Grande, and takes place monthly at Praça Rio Grande Shopping.
