Registration can be done online and free of charge through the website https://vamoquevamo.net.br/corridas-2023/aniversario-canoas.html, with the condition of donating two kilos of non-perishable food during the collection of the Timing Kit. Participation is open to men and women, aged at least 15 years, and 250 vacancies will be made available. There will be trophies awarded to the top five overall (in addition to supporters’ awards) and participation medals for all competitors.
“Our goal is to encourage and promote the practice of sports, and street running has gained more and more followers. We want to involve the community in races that normally have high entry costs. That’s why we thought of a solidary registration, with the donation of two kilos of food, making the race accessible and festive in celebration of our city’s anniversary”, highlights Letícia Boll, Municipal Secretary of Sports and Leisure.
The race will be divided into two routes, 3 km and 6 km. The concentration is scheduled for 7 am, and the start will be at 8 am, at Avenida Farroupilha, 4545 (Parking C of ParkShopping Canoas), arriving at the same location. Around 250 people are expected to participate, divided into 12 categories by age group. There will be parking, tents for concentration and a dispersal area with fruits and hydration for registered athletes.
The kits will be delivered on Saturday, the 24th, from 2 pm to 7 pm, at the Shopmasp Sports Canoas Store, located at Rua Quinze de Janeiro, 350, in the Centre. The event has the support of Fort Atacadista, ParkShopping Canoas, Shopmasp Sports, Empório Cia da Nutrição and Clic Run.
