From 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm, in front of the Veterinary Hospital Institute (IHVET), located on the Headquarters Campus, there will be the presence of professors, professionals and students of the Veterinary Medicine course, as well as partner companies in the veterinary sector, who will be available to share information and provide guidance on professional practices and animal care.
During guided tours, visitors will have the opportunity to discover environments such as the Mobile Veterinary Unit of the undergraduate course and the IHVET for large and small animals. IHVET is one of the largest animal health complexes in Rio Grande do Sul and the spaces and materials used in classes will be presented.
Those interested in studying a degree at UCS will be able to take advantage of the occasion to obtain information about the ways to enter and the benefits offered for the transfer. In addition, students will receive guidance on enrollment and will have the opportunity to discuss their CVs with faculty.
In case of rain, orientation and visitation activities of the internal environments will be maintained.
During the event, there will also be a collection point for the Pet Clothing Campaign. On the premises of IHVET, food for animals, clothes, beds and blankets will be collected to warm the animals this winter. This initiative is promoted by the discipline of Clinical Medicine of Dogs and Cats II and by the Academic Directory Palmira Gobbi, of the Veterinary Medicine course.
