A 22-year-old medical student died last Wednesday (14th), after spending a month hospitalized in Goiânia due to pulmonary thromboembolism. Samya Bucar, who was born in Guaraí, Tocantins, but had lived in Goiás for over 3 years, would finish college next year. According to her father, Sebastião Bucar, the young woman had seven cardiac arrests on the day she was hospitalized. He highlighted that the daughter had no pre-existing disease or risk factor.
