Goiânia – A 10-year-old girl was bitten by a snake when she was getting ready to go to sleep, in the capital of Goiás. According to the child’s mother, Evane Silva, her daughter’s body and eyes were paralyzed, but she is doing well.
The case happened on Monday (12/6). According to Evane Silva, the child was ready for bed when she complained that something was “smelling” her. Then she jumped out of bed and announced that she had been bitten.

According to Evane, when she turned on the light in the room, she saw Melyssa Silva’s armpits bleeding and the presence of two “small holes”. Initially, the woman thought that she might be bitten by a rat. However, she took her daughter to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases (HDT), where it was found that it was a snakebite.
According to the mother’s report to TV Anhanguera, when she entered the health unit, the girl could not move her eyes or body. According to the report, she even had to be carried by the nurses. But, fortunately, the girl recovered and was discharged on Wednesday (15/6).
The girl’s family is still concerned that the snake has not been found and may still be in the house. She reported that she even asked the Fire Department for help, however, the corporation does not carry out the search. If the animal is found, just call them on 193 for collection.
