In 2012, the French brand Lancôme launched the fragrance La Vie est Belle, a combination of floral and oriental gourmand that quickly became an international success. In 2023, the brand presents a new option of 150 ml of La Vie est Belle, in addition to a refill system, allowing consumers to enjoy this perfume for longer, while reinforcing its commitment to the environment and more sustainable consumption.
For the first time, the bottles feature an innovative and easy refill system, dispensing with the use of a funnel. The spray valve can be easily removed, and then the 100 ml refill is connected to bottles of any size of the fragrance, starting the replenishment process, fully automatic and without perfume waste.
The bottle has been adapted to be refillable, reflecting Lancôme’s longstanding commitment to sustainability. The use of refills results in a 41% reduction in carbon emissions, while refilling avoids wasting 51% of glass, 46% of plastic and 67% of metal, materials used in the manufacture of bottles. Both the spray glass and the refill glass are recyclable, reinforcing the commitment to sustainability and the planet.
The fragrance La Vie est Belle Eau de Parfum was developed by master perfumers Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge and Ropion Dominique. It is an elegant composition, combining floral, oriental and gourmand notes, with emphasis on patchouli. Natural ingredients like orange blossom and jasmine provide a modern interpretation of an oriental scent, with a touch of gourmand iris.
Based on the original art of perfumery, the three perfumers opted for the power of simplicity. They didn’t use any pre-made base, just pure ingredients.
Top notes: cassis or blackcurrant and pear
Heart notes: iris, jasmine and orange blossom
Base notes: patchouli, tonka bean, vanilla and praline
