Preparation mode:

Beat the egg whites very firm in the mixer. Gradually, without stopping beating, add the egg yolks one by one and the sugar. Pour the milk little by little, without stopping beating. Finally, add the sifted flour with powdered chocolate and baking powder. Pour into a greased round mold (28 cm in diameter) and bake in a hot oven (200°C) for approximately 40 minutes – or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool, unfold and cut in half.
Stuffing and Topping
Take the condensed milk, butter and chocolate powder to the fire, stirring constantly. When it boils, put the fire down and let it cook non stop stirring for about 6 minutes or until you form a consistent cream. Moisten half of the cake with powdered chocolate milk, cover with half of that cream, arrange the other half of the cake, moisten with the syrup and cover with the rest of the cream. Decorate with chocolate shavings and icing sugar.
