Drying your hair with a towel the wrong way: Twisting or rubbing the strands is a very common habit, but it makes them break easily. The idea is just to press the strands to remove moisture. Try to use microfiber towels.
Hot water: Washing your hair with hot water can be one of the biggest mistakes and causes frizz. That’s because hot water dries out, embarrasses and makes the strands more oily, making them more brittle.
Nozzle dryer: Many people use the hair dryer incorrectly. The nozzle of the device is essential as it directs the air flow and prevents the hair from blowing out. Remember to use a heat protectant before using the dryer to avoid damage to your hair.
Excessive use of chemicals: Straightening, discolorations and any chemical process dry and damage the wires. Therefore, it is better to avoid them frequently. If you do, it’s important to maintain intense hydration and extra care.
Run your hand through your hair: This is a common habit, but it causes friction and contributes to the appearance of frizz. This is especially harmful for people with wavy, frizzy and curly hair.
Climate: When the weather is very humid and the strands are dry, they stick to water particles, resulting in frizz. The opposite also occurs: when the climate is very dry, the wires shiver in search of moisture.
Drying: When hair is not hydrated enough, it is prone to developing frizz.
Friction: One of the best tips is to wear a satin bonnet when sleeping. The friction with the pillow overnight can make the hair full of frizz.
