This weekend, on June 9th and 10th, the boulevard of MULTI Open Shopping, located on Rio Tavares, in Florianópolis, will be the stage for an incredible exhibition of more than 50 bonsai trees. This wonderful initiative is promoted by Meu Salão in celebration of Environment Week.
The bonsai technique is truly fascinating, as it allows the miniaturization of plants without losing their original characteristics, resulting in true “mini trees”. At the exhibition, you will have the opportunity to admire and appreciate the beautiful specimens cultivated by Vinícius Piumato da Silva, a renowned specialist who coordinates Viva Bonsai Floripa.
Vinícius is the son of Valdoir Rocha da Silva, founder of Escola Viva Bonsai in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, since 1994. With more than 15 years of experience in the art of bonsai, Vinícius is both producer and teacher, and is dedicated to promote this millenary art in Florianópolis and in several cities of Santa Catarina.
In the exhibition, you will find a wide variety of plants, including pre-bonsai and bonsai of native and exotic species, such as Caliandra, Serissa, Pinheiro Negro, Carmona, Ulmus, among others. It is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of these small natural wonders.
Visitation is completely free and can be done from 11 am to 6 pm, both on Friday, the 9th, and Saturday, the 10th of June. Don’t miss this chance to appreciate the delicacy and perfection of bonsai trees. Bring your family and friends to enjoy this awe-inspiring experience!
