This Sunday (11), Estância Velha holds the Estância em Hip Hop, at Praça da Nova Estância. This event was postponed at the end of May due to unstable weather. The hip hop meeting is organized by the Department of Culture of the Secretary of Education and Culture and will start at 1 pm.
Hip hop, also known as rap, is a genre of popular music that is characterized by a combination of stylized rhythm and rhyming vocalization. The four cultural elements that make up the hip-hop movement are: rap (rhythm and poetry), graffiti (visual art), DJs and MCs (masters of ceremonies) and Street Dance (street dance).
