A 7-year-old girl died from an electric shock when picking up a cell phone that was charging at an outlet inside her house, in Paudalho, in the north of Pernambuco. The case took place last Sunday (4).
Thaiara Letícia da Silva, a student in the 2nd year of Elementary School, was rescued but did not resist and died inside the residence.

According to the Pernambuco Civil Police, investigations into the death have begun. So far, the death has been registered as “to be clarified” at the police station.
The city hall mourned the loss and published a note of regret. “We send our condolences to the family and our most sincere condolences in this time of mourning”, says a note from the management.
