Trancista Thais Medeiros de Oliveira, 25, may be discharged in the coming days. The young woman has been hospitalized in serious condition since February 17 after smelling pepper and having an intense allergic reaction.
The young woman’s mother, Adriana Medeiros, informed G1 that the family should set up a kind of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at home to receive Thais.
“After she is discharged, she should start rehab. Then they tell us everything we need, like a bed and oxygen. I’m going to have to move here closer to Crer because her condition is very complicated”, said Adriana.
According to the young woman’s mother, Thais is reacting well to the treatments and was also released for the use of Botox by the medical team.
“Until the day of discharge, Thais will undergo exams to prove her health condition and whether it will be possible to release her. To earn clinical discharge, she needs to be strong,” she said.
