Last Saturday, June 3rd, the candidates for the São Leopoldo Fest 2023 court had the privilege of participating in the long-awaited first meeting. The event took place at the José Pedro Boéssio Cultural Center and marked the beginning of an exciting journey for these young women.
The organizing team provided candidates with a detailed explanation of the different stages of the competition. In addition, a special moment was dedicated to the renowned professor Joel Santana, who taught a basic class on the history of the municipality, presenting its main buildings. Through this knowledge, candidates will be able to gain an even deeper understanding of the cultural and historical importance of the region.
In this edition, we have the participation of 18 candidates who aspire to the title of queen and 5 candidates who are running for the position of oma. All of them are determined to shine on the big day of the contest, scheduled for June 17th, at 8 pm, at the traditional Sociedade Orpheu. And the best part? The ticket to honor this grandiose event is simply 1 kg of non-perishable food, a beautiful way to unite entertainment and solidarity.
It is worth noting that the evaluation of candidates involves several criteria, including recording a video, rehearsals and interviews. It is a unique opportunity for candidates to show their talent, charisma and knowledge, and thus win the hearts of the public and the judges.
