With several novelties, such as the online sale of tickets for the first time and the expansion of the Variety Sector in the Annex Pavilion, the 29th Sweet Fenugreek opened its doors to the public this Friday (02) with the theme “Doce Sabor da Infância”. The event, which will take place daily until the 18th of this month, will offer an initial weekend full of diverse programming, with music, gastronomy workshops and content on entrepreneurship and innovation.
As is tradition, visitors were waiting anxiously at the entrance to the fair, even before its opening. This time, the first person to enter Fenadoce was Vera Lucia Barrei Gribrero, a 67-year-old pensioner and resident of Cidreira. Although she already knew Pelotas, this was the first time that Vera visited the event, and she and her husband already felt infected by the festive atmosphere right at the entrance. “I am looking forward to experiencing this beautiful party. I love Pelotas sweets! In my city, there are always places that sell ‘authentic Pelotas sweets’, but here they are special”, shares Vera.
Vera Lucia’s expectation is shared by the organization of the fair. According to Daniel Centeno, Managing Counselor of CDL Pelotas and member of the Organizing Committee of the 29th Fenadoce, the event is already considered historic. “We are promoting changes, such as the online sale of tickets, and also expanding spaces, such as the Variety Sector, due to the great demand and the interest of exhibitors in participating in the fair. This 29th edition started very well, and now it’s time to receive our visitors and celebrate with everyone”, comments Centeno.
food court

Altogether, there are 26 restaurants offering the best of Pelotas cuisine, whether for those looking for ready meals or for those who want to try the city’s famous snacks.
Highlights of the weekend
Those who visit the 29th Fenadoce on its first weekend will find a program full of activities. In addition, the SebraeX Innovation Arena will present a series of panels with successful cases, including the participation of Instituto Caldeira, from Porto Alegre.
In the world of music, the weekend will mark the beginning of performances on the Main Stage, located in the Food Court, and at Estancia Princesa do Sul, along with the other two stages of Fenadoce Cultural. On Sunday, the 4th, we will have the privilege of hosting the first national show with the renowned country duo Israel and Rodolfo.
