The 2023 Winter Season in Canela has a series of free attractions that provide culture and entertainment for both the local community and visitors. Taking advantage of the cold climate and low temperatures, Canela becomes the ideal tourist destination for those who want to enjoy the charm and beauty of the Serra during the winter.
The presentation of the program took place at the end of the afternoon of this Monday (29) at Cidica, with the presence of the press, influencers and authorities. The Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Gilmar Ferreira, pointed out that all activities are free and aimed at tourists, but especially at the local community.
Secretary assistant Wesley Matos, together with technical advisor Jéssica Moretto, presented the activities and announced that accreditation for local artists will soon be opened, with the aim of expanding the program even further.
Mayor Constantino Orsolin stated that Canela is known for its cold climate and, because of this, receives many tourists during the winter, as many visitors want to take advantage of the low temperatures. It is exactly at this time that the high season occurs, between the months of June and August. “The city is crowded and full of attractions to delight visitors and provide moments of relaxation and entertainment to the residents of Canela”, concluded Orsolin.
The mascots and dolls of the parks also participated in the event. The Canela Winter Season is an initiative promoted by the City of Canela, through the Department of Tourism and Culture.
Decoration
The city of Canela will be decorated with elements such as snowmen, pieces of aged wood and other charming details, providing a unique atmosphere during the most anticipated time of the year in Serra Gaúcha.
