Pelotas will carry out, during this week, an initiative that will contribute to the culture and entertainment of students from schools in the municipal network. On May 25th and 26th, the Cine CCR project will take its movie trailer to the city, offering free film screenings for around 500 students, in addition to two sessions open to the general public. Pelotas City Hall is supporting this project, which is carried out by Cepar Cultural.
The exhibitions will take place at Praça da Alfândega, from 8 am to 5:30 pm, and will benefit students from elementary schools Carlos André Laquintinie and Jeremias Fróes, as well as kindergartens Mal. Ignácio de Freitas Rolim and Marília Poliesti. Participants will be offered free popcorn and soda, and films will have accessibility features.
The general population will have access to two sessions, both at 6:30 pm on Thursday and Friday, also with free admission, popcorn and soda. Tickets can be picked up in advance at the venue.
Cine CCR is an itinerant cinema that works on a truck, whose sides open to transform into a real cinema room, with a screen, air conditioning and seats to accommodate up to 91 people per session, in addition to having a popcorn machine, a soda and restrooms.
Students will have the opportunity to watch the films “Trolls” and “Sing 2”. In sessions open to the public, the films “Transformers: The Last Knight” will be shown on the first day, and “Dora and the Lost City”, on the second day of the event. To ensure the inclusion of all audiences, the films will have accessibility resources, such as descriptive subtitles, audio description and LIBRAS.
