MINI is celebrating the sale of 25,000 units in the country since April 2009, when it officially began operating in Brazil. The highlight is the MINI John Cooper Works – Zesty Yellow 25k Edition.
With only 25 units available, this model combines the traditional Go-Kart Feeling so desired from the John Cooper Works sports division versions with unprecedented collectible potential.
The MINI John Cooper Works – Zesty Yellow Edition 25k stands out for its unique look. All 25 units come with bodywork in the beautiful Zesty Yellow, which is available for the first time on the MINI John Cooper Works – 3-Door Hatch. In addition, the model comes with a white multitone roof, a novelty, and sports stripes on the hood, also in white, completing the customization.
The mirrors, door handles and front and rear light rings are in piano black, which provides a beautiful contrast and reinforces the sporty character of the model. The wheels are 18-inch, Circuit Spoke model, with a two-tone finish (diamond and glossy black), and the tires are runflat type.
Inside, the MINI JCW – Zesty Yellow Edition 25k is equipped with sport seats upholstered in Alcantara from the John Cooper Works range. The pedals are in stainless steel and the internal finishes are in piano black.
Buyers of the 25 units of the special edition will also receive a personalized kit, consisting of items that identify the version and bring an exclusive certificate.
In terms of performance and cutting-edge technology, the MINI John Cooper Works – Zesty Yellow Edition 25k Edition is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, TwinPower Turbo technology and an 8-speed Sport Automatic Steptronic transmission, which deliver a maximum power of 231hp and a torque of 320Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 6.1 seconds.
All MINI John Cooper Works – Zesty Yellow Edition 25k units are factory-connected with a virtual SIM card at no additional cost to the customer for at least three years.
In addition, the vehicle has connectivity with Amazon Alexa, which allows for greater integration of the car with smart homes. The sound system is from the Harman/Kardon hi-fi brand, the car has a head-up display, digital dashboard and an 8.8-inch touchscreen multimedia center.
Regarding technology, the model offers an interactive system that facilitates driving the vehicle. Of particular note are the steering assistant and camera system, professional navigation, automatic braking, steering wheel vibration, automatic headlight adjustment and dangerous approach warning.
The driver can count on 6 standard airbags, cruise control with speed adjustment, front and rear parking sensors and rain sensor, with automatic activation of low beams.
