Continente Shopping, in Florianópolis, prepared a weekend with various free attractions. The program will start on Friday, the 19th, with a performance by the cover band Queen Immortal. The group will perform the greatest hits of the renowned rock band Queen, bringing the magic and nostalgia of the 70’s to the venue’s Central Square at 7pm.
On Saturday, the 20th, the second round of the Canvas Painting Workshop will take place, taught by Daisy Américo, a talented plastic artist responsible for the exhibition “Sobre Amor e Alegria”, on display at the Cultural Space of Continente Shopping throughout the month of May .
The workshop will have two classes for children, from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00, at Espaço Mundo Kids. The last class of the day will be reserved for adults, from 5 pm to 7 pm, at Espaço Cultural. 12 vacancies will be available per class and registrations can be made on site, in order of arrival.
On Saturday, there will also be the Martial Arts Championship, with tournaments and a women’s self-defense workshop. The event will take place at Praça Central from 10:30 am, with the National Examination of Black Belts.
In the afternoon, the National Mas Challenge Tournament will begin, with the participation of athletes from five sports, from 2 pm to 5 pm. In the late afternoon, at 6:30 pm, a women’s self-defense workshop will be held. All activities are free and open to the public, with registration on site.
On Sunday, the 21st, the Central Square will be the stage for the musical show “Princesas e Herois” from 5 pm. This free presentation consists of a retelling of fairy tales and the adventures of superheroes, promising to enchant the whole family with a playful musical full of magic.
