The Municipality of Pelotas resumed the project to donate seedlings provided by Horto Municipal as part of the Ciclo Verde Pelotas program. This season, the seedling request process will undergo reformulations, including the change to requests exclusively through the Environmental Licensing System (Sislam) and the removal of seedlings according to a schedule established at the headquarters of the Environmental Quality Secretariat (SQA), located in Parque da Baronesa.
Previously, requests for seedlings were made directly at SQA, online, with the collection of seedlings at the Municipal Garden. Now, to request the seedlings, it will be necessary to send the request exclusively through Sislam, in the following link: https://pelotas.sislam.com.br/.
Those interested must register on the website, access the option “New request” -> “11. Services” -> “Seedling Donation” and fill in the required information. After sending the request, a technician from the Environmental Actions sector will receive the request and, if the information is filled in correctly, an authorization will be issued.
With this authorization in hand, the citizen can go to the SQA, located at Avenida Domingos de Almeida, 1490, on the scheduled date, to pick up the seedlings. Up to ten units will be delivered per CPF.

According to SQA, along with the delivery of seedlings, an Environmental Education team will recommend and guide the population on good planting techniques. Depending on the demand, the pre-established dates for the withdrawal may be rearranged.
Around 20 species of medium-sized plants will be available, suitable for urban planting, on sidewalks or backyards. They can be picked up on the 25th of this month, the 6th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of June, the 13th, 20th and 27th of July, and the 10th and 24th of August.
