According to the coordinator of the Epidemiological Surveillance of Lajeado, Juliana Demarchi, the municipality presents an increase in confirmation of Gripa Syndromes (SG) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) caused by the Influenza A H1N1 virus.
– Seasonalities with prevalence of this subtype of Influenza A tend to have more cases of GS, SARS and deaths. In addition to the circulation of this virus, we are still detecting cases of Influenza B and Covid-19. We reinforce that the importance of vaccinating priority groups remains, which are the most prone to developing the most serious forms of the disease – explains Juliana.
