In Estância Velha, as of Monday (15th), the circular and intercity public transport itinerary will undergo changes and will pass through Bus Terminal on Rua Theodomiro Porto da Fonseca.
To get there, the EV/NH public transport will take Rua Portão, access Rua Arthur Leopoldo Ritter on the right until Rua Hugo Metz, turn left on Rua Theodomiro Porto da Fonseca until Terminal, and then turn right on Rua Gate on the usual route.
The paradão on Rua Portão (in front of Livraria Clip) will be deactivated as of Monday, and users must go to the Terminal to board the bus. Notice posters are already being put up on site to inform about the change.
In addition, passengers using Ouro e Prata’s intercity transport will also be picked up at the Bus Terminal, no longer on Rua Eça de Queiroz in front of the Fire Department. According to the Secretary of Safety, Sport and Welfare, José Dresch, the new Terminal will offer more comfort and safety for the community.
From the start of operation of the new Terminal, a great novelty will be offered to users: the integrated ticket. This means that the user who needs to move from one neighborhood to another, with an alternative stop at the Terminal do Centro, will have 1h30m at no additional cost to board the second bus.
The integrated ticket will only be valid for the same mode of transport (circular/circular or intercity/intercity) and for different neighborhoods, and it is not possible to return free of charge to the departure neighborhood.
If the user wants to leave the neighborhood, stop at the Terminal and then board the intercity bus, he must pay only the difference of R$ 1.00. To acquire the integrated ticket, the user must go to the bus company and obtain the ticket card.
