The Novo Hamburgo Health Department has one more opportunity for the population to get vaccinated this weekend. On Saturday, the 13th, from 9 am to 4 pm, the Health Bus will be parked at Praça Centenário, in the Canudos neighborhood, close to the UPA. Vaccination will include flu and covid shots.
The priority group being vaccinated at this early stage against flu includes children from 6 months to under 6 years of age, pregnant women, puerperal women, indigenous peoples, health workers, seniors aged 60 and over, public and private school teachers, people with non-transmissible chronic diseases and other special clinical conditions (the from the age of 12), people with permanent disabilities, professionals from the security and rescue forces and the armed forces, truck drivers, public road passenger transport workers, urban and long-distance passengers, port workers and prison system employees.
For vaccination, it is necessary to take a document with a photo and the SUS card from Novo Hamburgo. Chronic and permanently disabled patients must also present some document, report or medical prescription that proves the clinical condition. Professionals, on the other hand, must present some document that proves the employment relationship.
Covid
On Saturday, the mobile unit will apply the first, second or booster dose of the covid vaccine for all age groups, including children. In addition, the Pfizer Bivalent vaccine will be applied to the entire population aged 18 years or older who have received at least the initial two-dose primary scheme: D1 and D2 with the monovalent vaccine (CoronaVac, Astrazeneca, Pfizer or Janssen) and within four months of the last dose received from D2 or four months after any booster the person may have received.
It is not an impediment to have any of the booster doses overdue. People aged 12 and over with comorbidities can also receive a booster dose with Bivalente if they present a medical report that proves their condition.
Comorbid conditions that qualify for the booster dose include diabetes mellitus, severe chronic lung diseases, resistant arterial hypertension (RHT), stage 3 arterial hypertension, stage 1 and 2 arterial hypertension with end-organ damage, heart failure (HF), cor-pulmonale and pulmonary hypertension, hypertensive heart disease, coronary syndromes , valvopathies, cardiomyopathies and pericardiopathies, diseases of the aorta, great vessels and arteriovenous fistulas, cardiac aneurysms, congenital heart diseases in adults, valve prostheses and implanted cardiac devices, chronic neurological diseases and muscular dystrophies, chronic kidney disease, hemoglobinopathies and severe splenic dysfunctions, morbid obesity, down syndrome and other genetic syndromes, chronic liver disease.
For vaccination, it is important to take proof of previously received applications for the vaccine against covid, photo document, SUS card from Novo Hamburgo or proof of residence from Novo Hamburgo.
