This Sunday (14th) of Mother’s Day, an option for a tour is to visit the traditional Brechocão pet fair, held periodically at Parque Farroupilha (Parcão), in Porto Alegre. This is the first edition of the event in May and takes place between Parquinho and Auditorio Araújo Vianna, next to Avenida Osvaldo Aranha, from 9 am to 4 pm.
Brechocão aims to raise funds for protectors and entities dedicated to animal welfare, registered by the municipality. At the site, exhibitors sell decorative objects, clothes, shoes and used pet items.
The funds raised contribute to the cost of food, shelter and clinical-veterinary care for the animals rescued in the capital.
In addition, the opportunity promotes the meeting of animal lovers who walk through the Parcão with their pets.
