Torres City Hall invites the public to participate in the 34th Torres Interstate Crioulo Rodeo, which will take place at CTG Porteira Gaúcha, between May 18 and 21, 2023.
This will be a unique opportunity to appreciate the folklore of Rio Grande do Sul, through the dances, music, handicrafts, cuisine and customs of the gaucho people. In addition, the event will feature championship and artistic events, which will demonstrate the skills and pride of pedestrians and gifts, representing the gaucho culture.
General boss Renan Hugentobler dos Santos and Guilherme Oliveira, representatives of the CTG Porteira Gaúcha, presented the Rodeio schedule to Mayor Carlos Souza and the secretariats involved in the event.
The secretary of Rural Development and Fisheries, José Vanderlei Brocca, the secretary of Works and Public Services, Mauro Dias, and the secretary of Culture and Sport, José Mauri Rodrigues, were present at the meeting. The city of Torres will provide financial support of R$ 60,000 for the Festa do Tradicionalismo Gaúcho, in order to improve the quality of life of the local community, which has the gaúcho culture as one of its main assets.
