This weekend, May 6th and 7th, the CTG Victório Mário, located in the district of Arroio do Só, in Santa Maria, will promote the 2nd Tropeada da Canção Nativa and the 4th Festa do Porongo, events that received funding from the Law of Incentive to the Culture of Santa Maria (LIC-SM) in the amount of approximately R$ 80 thousand for funding.
During the party, visitors will be able to enjoy new nativist music, colonial products, handicrafts and participate in a Sunday party. Check below the competing songs and the detailed schedule.
On the first day, the party will start at 2 pm, with the opening of the fair, which will feature an exhibition of colonial products, handicrafts, cuisine and a food court. Starting at 8 pm, the 12 songs competing in the Tropeada da Canção Nativa will begin to perform. The halftime show will be in charge of Os Fagundes, and the awards are scheduled for 11 pm.
On Sunday, the CTG will start its activities at 10:30 am with the drovers’ parade. At 3 pm, there will be a Sunday to mark the end of the events with a lot of music from Rio Grande do Sul.
