Next Saturday, the 6th, Jardim do Dmae, in Porto Alegre, will host another edition of the Universe Fair Mom & Baby, which will have free admission and will take place from 11 am to 5 pm.
The theme of the event will be the Maio Furta-cor campaign, whose objective is to promote mental health care for mothers. The organizer of the event, Fabiene Rieger, points out that more than 285 women across Brazil and in 17 countries are involved in the fight for maternal mental health, on various platforms.
The fair will include a round of conversation with psychologists Luana Matos and Larissa Lutkmeyer, who will discuss maternal mental health care. The meeting will be at 3:30 pm and registration is free and can be done through a link provided.
In addition, there will be 12 exhibitors with products aimed at maternity, such as clothing, toys, natural cosmetics, biojewels and utilities for the baby’s layette. In this edition, there will also be a collection of bottles with plastic lids for donation to the breast milk bank.
For children, the event will feature playful activities and a special surprise for mothers. However, it is important to remember that animals, sports and cycling in the garden will not be allowed. If weather conditions are unfavorable, the event will be postponed.
