In Campo Bom, Labor Day, celebrated on May 1st, will feature a variety of cultural, leisure and sports activities. The City Hall’s Secretariat for Sport and Leisure (Smel) will hold another edition of the event Esporte em Ação, at Parque do Trabalhador, starting at 9 am.
The event will feature sand volleyball, beach tennis, foot volleyball and sand handball tournaments, in addition to currency exchange activities and gym classes. One of the main attractions will be Rústica do Trabalhador, which is organized in partnership with Wommer Running.
Mayor Luciano Orsi points out that the event will resume after being canceled last year due to the pandemic. The expectation is that the community will attend and that it will be a day of fraternization and leisure. The secretary of Sports and Leisure, Eduardo Assmann, invites the population to gather family and friends, take chairs and chimarrão and take advantage of the cultural, sports and leisure activities available to all.
The Worker’s Rústica will have children’s races with courses of 50, 100 and 300 meters, starting at 3 pm. The adult race, with 5 kilometers, will start at 3:30 pm, starting and ending at Parque do Trabalhador. Registration for the adult test closes this Tuesday (25).
