The deadline for requesting exemption from the enrollment fee in the National High School Examination (Enem) 2023 ends this Friday (28), as well as the presentation of justification for absence for those who were exempt from the fee in Enem 2022, but did not take the tests.
Both orders must be made in the Participant’s Page, through the single login of the Gov.br platform. Exemption is guaranteed to students who are attending the 3rd year of high school in a public school declared in the School Census, those who completed all of their high school in a public school or with a full scholarship in a private school, and people in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability registered in the Single Registry for federal government social programs (CadÚnico).
According to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (Inep), if the justification is not presented or is refused, the student will have to pay the registration fee. The result of the analysis of justifications will be released on May 8.
To ensure service accessibility, the institute made available two versions of the notice for exemption from the registration fee and justification for participants with disabilities: one in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) and another with adaptations for people with visual impairments.
Enem 2023 tests are scheduled for November 5th and 12th.
