Site preparation for the construction of the nautical ramp at Laranjal began this Monday (24th), between Avenida José Maria da Fontoura and Rua Irma Montanelli, on the border of the beach resorts of Prazeres (Barro Duro) and Santo Antônio.
According to the Municipality of Pelotas, the construction of the ramp is an old demand from sportsmen and will guarantee safe access for small vessels, destined to the practice of nautical sports, events, recreational activities and sport fishing in Lagoa dos Patos. It will also serve as support for rescue actions carried out by firefighters.
“The next steps involve the removal of earth, then the execution of the foundations, the submerged part and other structural elements, such as beams and slabs”, informed the engineer Noeline Sampaio, responsible for the work.
According to the project, the forecast is that the structure will be completed by August.
How will the public nautical ramp be
The first public nautical ramp in the city will be built in conventional and precast concrete and with a gravel embankment, with an area of 795 square meters. In all, they are 16 meters long, eight of which are submerged, by five meters wide. The project also includes two lateral containment walls for the landfill.
The site will also have LED lighting and vertical signage. The work is budgeted at R$ 203,400, with around R$ 152,000 funded by a free amendment by federal deputy Daniel Trzeciak (PSDB) and R$ 50,000 in municipal counterparts. The project is from the Department of Planning and Management (Seplag) and the execution will be in charge of the company Construtora Augusto Velloso S/A.
