The Sociedade União de Cantores de Igrejinha (Suci) is preparing its traditional Curb and Birthday Ball. It will take place on April 29th, starting at 8 pm, with a typical German dinner, cold draft beer and entertainment at Banca Eccos. This year, part of the profit obtained will be destined for Apae de Igrejinha.
In 2023, Suci completes 136 years, being an important historical and cultural heritage for Igrejinha and the region. At its headquarters, the most varied events were held, in addition to important decision-making meetings throughout its centenary life. Located in the center of Igrejinha, on Rua da Independência, it contributes to the preservation and appreciation of German culture, being open to the most varied cultural manifestations.
The ball is one of the most traditional events promoted by the entity, occupying space in the calendar for decades. For the president of Suci, Lucas Elias Kieling, this is a moment to celebrate.
