,,3,3,The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) informed today (21) that it has suspended the sale of food supplements, teas and shakes produced by the company Labornatus do Brasil.
The measure was taken after the agency identified “serious flaws in good manufacturing practices” at the company’s headquarters, located in Marataízes (ES). Anvisa mentions problems encountered in cleaning the factory, pest control, potable water, quality control and safety of raw materials, physical structure and documentation.
With the suspension, the manufacture, sale, distribution and use of all food produced by the company, of any batch, is temporarily prohibited.
Anvisa advises customers who bought the brand’s products not to consume the items. Consumers should also contact the company for recall information.
The suspension of the products will be valid until the company presents solutions for the problems presented by the health surveillance agency.
