On the morning of this Wednesday, April 19, entrepreneurs Rodrigo Scortegagna and Julia Roque spoke with students from the Antonino Xavier State School, in Passo Fundo. The objective was to guide and bring practical tips to young people who are starting high school, a period of extreme insecurity and vulnerability. During this period, many doubts hang over teenagers, how to understand which way to go and what context to fit in. The conversation sought to inspire these young people to find answers to these questions.
One of the first issues raised with the students was the importance of creating habits. Small acts like making your bed every day can teach us about success. Júlia Roque explains: “It may seem like a silly thing, but making the bed every day is an attitude that molds the individual. It helps to create a sense of accomplishment and control over life, as well as improving mental health and preparing the person to face the day “.
The habit is extremely powerful for people of all ages, including teenagers. Rodrigo Scortegagna ponders: “Habits shape our lives and are the basis of our daily actions. When teens develop good habits, they have a solid foundation for future success. Studying regularly, making your bed every day and exercising are micro-goals that, in the long run, will make all the difference in the results achieved”.
Additionally, habits can help teens better manage their time and achieve their goals. Establishing daily routines can help them focus on their tasks and avoid distractions. It is important to encourage the development of healthy and positive habits from an early age.
Rodrigo Scortegagna concludes: “It is important to involve young people in the decision-making process about their careers. Encourage them to identify their strengths and interests and guide them through available options. Make them part of the process.”
