Canoas holds the City Hall on the Street this Saturday (22) in the Mathias Velho neighborhood (PNR). The 41st edition of Canoas’ main popular participation tool takes place at Praça Pio X, from 9am to 12pm. The action is an opportunity for the population to forward demands, criticisms and suggestions directly to the mayor, secretaries and deputy mayors.
The City Hall on the Street is a project that takes place weekly in all corners of the city, always on Saturdays. On site, the people of Cano can count on a structure of the Municipal Administration, to serve the population.
All requests, from each area, are noted, filed and forwarded to a solution. To be attended, the citizen must present a document with a photo and CPF.

Several services will be offered during the program, such as the CadÚnico Mobile Unit, VANcina, distribution of plant seedlings and clothing donation:
CadÚnico Mobile Unit
The Secretariat for Social Development (SMDS) will update CadÚnico and new registrations. It will also be possible to request a duplicate birth, marriage or death certificate, free of charge, in addition to clarifying doubts about social programs.
MACA Solidarity Coffee
The Action for Canoes Movement (MACA) will be promoting a solidarity coffee for people in attendance. 100 tokens will be distributed for citizens to drink coffee, free of charge.

The Municipal Secretariat for the Environment (SMMA) will distribute 80 seedlings of native and fruit trees, limited to one per person.
Civil defense
The Civil Defense Coordination will be making donations of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and shoes. There will also be an exhibition of equipment to answer questions from the population about the agency’s performance. There will also be a collection of donations.
Registration for castration
The Municipal Department of Animal Welfare (Smbea) will be on site registering people who are interested in neutering their pets.
Canoes Recycle with Us
Environmental educators from the eight recycling cooperatives in Canoas will be guiding people on the correct separation of waste and collecting electronics.

VAN
The Municipal Secretary of Health (SMS) will offer vaccination against Covid-19, monovalent and bivalent. Check below who can get vaccinated:
Monovalent: first dose for all ages, and second and third booster doses according to specific dates.
Bivalent: single dose for health workers, immunosuppressed from 12 years old, people with comorbidities of 40 years or more, pregnant or puerperal women (45 days after the baby’s birth), in elderly people aged 60 years or more, in people with permanent disability and officials of the deprivation of liberty system.
