Farroupilha holds on Saturday, April 15th, another edition of Worker’s Saturday. The special program will feature a conversation on Autism, in reference to Autism Awareness Month, at 9am, at the Integrated Mental Health Care Center (Caisme), on Rua Papa João XXIII, in the Imigrante neighborhood.
It was carried out by the Municipal Health Department of Farroupilha and the Farroupilha Pro-Health Association.
Parallel to the consultations, the Basic Health Unit in the São José neighborhood will receive a physiotherapist to perform auriculotherapy, a technique derived from acupuncture, which puts pressure on specific points of the ear to treat and diagnose various physical, mental and even emotional problems.
The service integrates the Integrative and Complementary Practice in Health (Pics). Appointments must be made at the UBS reception, with limited spaces.
In addition, all basic health units that have a Family Health Strategy (ESF) – Primeiro de Maio, São José, Monte Pasqual, Industrial/América, Medianeira, Cinquentenário, Belvedere and Cruzeiro -, including the Central Health Post, will offer, from 8 am to 12 pm, medical care, with a general practitioner, dentist, psychologist and physiotherapist, as well as pre-cancer collection, rapid tests for the detection of sexually transmitted diseases, vaccination in general – including against Covid-19. Appointments must be scheduled in advance directly with the interested unit.
As part of the Worker’s Saturday schedule, Farmácia de Todos, located at Rua Tomas Edson, 527, next to the Administrative Center, will be open this Saturday, open from 9 am to 1 pm for the withdrawal of medication upon medical prescription.
The actions developed by the Worker’s Saturday Program will take place throughout the year, each month with a different theme.
