The Health Department of Esteio promotes on Saturday (15) another edition of Saturday with Health with the opening of six Basic Health Units (UBSs), between 8am and 2pm. The initiative aims to offer the population services at alternative times for different referrals.
Vaccination of all audiences, carrying out rapid tests for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), requesting mammography exams, scheduling the collection of materials for cytopathological examination and multidimensional assessment of the elderly are the services that will be provided at the UBSs Pedreira, Parque Claret, Centro, Cruzeiro, Primavera/Caic and Planalto, which will also weigh children, women and pregnant women assisted by Bolsa Família.
Weighing
Bolsa Família beneficiary families with children up to the age of seven, pregnant women and women aged between 14 and 44 covered by the program must carry out the weighing every six months.
The purpose of the action is to verify the child’s vaccination card and whether the beneficiary pregnant woman is receiving prenatal care, among other information. Non-attendance may lead to loss of benefit. Those contemplated need to attend with the Bolsa Família card or the Social Identification Number (NIS) and the updated vaccination cards of the child and/or the pregnant woman.
The Department of Health established a calendar of weigh-ins for the first semester. In some UBSs, the action is carried out weekly. In others, there are specific days for the activity (see below).
The deadline for updating in the first half of 2023 is July 3rd. For the second semester, the deadline ends on January 2, 2024.
