Nenê’s trajectory
Anderson Luiz de Carvalho, Nenê, began to draw attention in futsal, with skill being his main characteristic. Later, he opted for field football and joined the base of Paulista de Jundiaí, and at the age of 19 he debuted professionally, playing 32 games and scoring 26 goals, winning the Paulista A2 and the Série C of the Brazilian Championship.
Nenê was hired by Palmeiras and, soon after, by Santos, being an absolute starter in both teams. In 2003, he arrived at Mallorca from Spain. In Europe he stayed for eleven consecutive seasons, also defending Alaves, Celta de Vigo and Espanyol. In France, he played for Monaco and PSG and in England he played for West Ham.
On the European continent, the player was awarded for individual performances and was elected the star of the French Championship in 2010/2011, player of the season for PSG 2010/2011 and 2011/2012, Brazilian player with the most goals in Europe 2010/2011 and 2011/ 2012 and assists leader of the French Championship 2007/2008. Before returning to Brazil, he played for Al-Gharafa, in Qatar. Again in the ‘country of football’, Nenê signed with Vasco and became an idol of the fans.
