Directed by Patrícia Fagundes, Cabaré do Amor Rasgado will be the second premiere of the Zona Cultural, a new space in Porto Alegre fully managed by artists. The production of Cia. Rústica is also going to offer a free workshop for those who want to participate in the first two presentations of the assembly.
The premiere sessions will take place on April 20 and 21, at 8 pm, and will have free admission with invitations distributed over the internet. Afterwards, the play will be on display from April 22 to May 7 with presentations on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, also at 8 pm, with admission charge.
Mixing theater, dance, music and circus, Cabaré do Amor Rasgado celebrates love as a life force. An action that can build other ways of coexistence and collective sharing. In times of hate (a destructive force distinct from anger), assumed love becomes a social and human foundation. It will be a shameless cabaret to expose emotions, where every form of love is worth it: romantic, fraternal, love for the world, for dreams, ideas, love for family, LGBTQIA+ love, love as what makes us and takes us beyond.
Cabaret is a reference for Cia. Rustic for fifteen years as a dissident scenic model that mixes different artistic languages. The cast is formed by Heinz Limaverde, Sandra Possani, Ander, Diego Nardi, Iassanã Martins, Juliana Kersting, Phill Coutinho, André Varela and Roberta Alfaya.
The piece is part of the Cabarés do Sul do Mundo project, which also includes Cabaré da Mulher Braba, which opened the Cultural Zone in March and had sold-out sessions and critical success. The initiative is being carried out with resources from the Pro-Cultura RS FAC (Rio Grande do Sul State Culture Support Fund).

This is the proposal of Oficina Poéticas Festivas – Cabaré do Amor Rasgado, which will be taught by director Patrícia Fagundes and actor Heinz Limaverde. The activity will be held on April 17, Monday, from 6 pm to 10 pm, in the Cultural Zone.
It is also essential to be available on April 19, 20 and 21, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm — dates on which the selected group will participate in the general rehearsal and the premiere sessions of the montage.
