Easter at Shopping Pelotas will be animated with a special children’s program this weekend through the show “Casinha de Chocolate”, by Grupo Tholl.
Inspired by the story of John and Marythe theater play is characterized by the mixture of interpretation with the art developed by the members of the group, with authorial music composed by Valter Sobreiro Júnior and direction by João Bachilli. The attraction will take place for free on April 8th and 9th, always at 6 pm, at the store next to Paquetá Calçados.
The show Casinha de Chocolate is already recognized by the audience in love with the theater for having integrated the presentation circuits in the mid-90s through the Teatro Escola de Pelotas.
From the repagination of history made by the trupe do Thollthe show premiered in June 2019, at Theatro São Pedro, in Porto Alegre, and has already toured around 20 cities, from Rio Grande do Sul (RS) to Mato Grosso do Sul (MS).
In the plot, João and Maria are abandoned by their father and stepmother in the frightening North Forest. When trying to return home, they come across a friend Coelho and a house full of sweets and treats, where the evil Witch and her son Pestinha live.
Artists Anthony Martins, Antonella Oliveira, Letícia Conter, Clovis Has and Eliana Guilherme will be responsible for bringing the plot to life and amusing the audience with the classic story in its new version.
Also at the end of March, Shopping Pelotas hosted the 20th anniversary show by Grupo Tholl “Bate Pra Tua Patota que Hoje tem Circo”. The public success confirmed everyone’s passion for the circus arts, providing another weekend of presentations so that customers can once again check out the talents of the group considered one of the Cultural Heritage of RS, this time, with an Easter special .
