Relatives of the victims demand justice and severe penalties against the author of the massacre
Relatives of the children who were killed during the massacre that took place this Wednesday (5) in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, gave an interview to local TV.
Dissatisfied with the attack, they called for justice, as four children were brutally murdered inside the Cantinho Bom Pastor day care center.
The godmother of one of the victims, Lidiane, vented and demanded tougher penalties from the authorities for crimes like this.
– I want security for our country. I want justice! Those kinds of people should go to jail. Death penalty should exist in Brazil. Life imprisonment should exist,” she said.
The woman complained about laws being applied, as the murderer will soon be released, according to her, and may commit new crimes.
Also speaking in the press was the uncle of one of the victims who insisted on speaking out against drugs. The killer was a user.
– Do you want to legalize drugs? The blood of these children is on your hands. Now, you people in the press who want to legalize drugs, come here and talk to a father [que perdeu o filho].
