This Saturday (08), the Bento Gonçalves Orchestra will present its newest concert entitled “Clássicas do Cinema” at the Ivo Antônio Da Rold Amphitheater of the Casa das Artes Foundation, starting at 7 pm. The concert will present great themes from the Seventh Art and from successful films such as “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “The Sniper”, “Cinema Paradiso”, “The Mission” and “Schindler’s List”, among others. Admission is free and a donation of 1 kg of non-perishable food is suggested, which will be destined for charitable entities.
Music has always played an important role in filmmaking, helping to set the tone and emotion of a scene and establishing the overall atmosphere of a film. Soundtrack composers need to be able to evoke emotions and reinforce the visual images in a story, and the selection of pieces chosen for the concert by the Orquestra de Bento Gonçalves exemplifies this.
The Bento Gonçalves Orchestra concert will feature talented soloists such as Rodrigo Duarte Maciel on violin and Carlos Henrique Gheno Zanella on electric guitar, bringing even more emotion and virtuosity to the performance.
