To celebrate Easter, the sweetest date on the calendar, Campos de Canella Station (www.estacaocanella.com.br) – also known as the “Covered Street of Canela” – will offer a special free program for visitors.
On the 7th, 8th and on Easter Sunday (April 9th), at different times*, fun is guaranteed with the show “What can I help you with”. Directed by Cainã Kosaveritz, the play tells the story of the rabbit Elcio Evaristo Eduardo Quinto. He works at Serviços Operacionais Pascoalinos (SOPA) and is responsible for the requests and complaints sector – the Coelhístico Easter Service (Easter SAC)!
The audience will follow a busy day at work of the main character answering a phone that NEVER stops. The result is a lot of confusion – and fun – with ordering the eggs!
Lasting 30 minutes, the show promises to bring adults and children together based on a light, cheerful and unconventional story.
On Saturday, April 8, from 10 am to 8 pm, the “Handicraft & Fashion Fair” also takes place. Local artisans and artists from the region will exhibit their work and products, some of them with an Easter theme.
In the late afternoon, at 6 pm, the Nova Petrópolis Wind Orchestra will make a special presentation for visitors. Conducted by maestro Lincoln da Gama Lobo, it will bring a repertoire ranging from classical to popular, including Brazilian and Latin rhythms, erudite and contemporary themes, jazz, rock and roll, movie soundtracks and folk music.
The program is free and for all ages. The Covered Street Cinnamon it is located at Largo Benito Urbani nº 77, Centro district, in Canela.
